Materials of the 1st Russian Petroleum

Materials of the 1st Russian Petroleum Forum embraced key issues of the Russian petroleum development: innovative technologies that ensure efficiency of exploration, production and estimation of oil reserves, oil field development, transport infrastructure, oil refining and petro chemistry, rational resource utilization and waste disposal, management and governmental control in the industry, international cooperation.

Today lots of young specialists in the petroleum industry - engineers, economists, ecologists - are eager to gain new knowledge about energy industry, are interested in the world energy tendencies, would like to benefit from their senior colleagues' experience and develop their own creative ideas and proposals. It is really great that the 1st Russian Petroleum Forum became an interactive platform where young professionals could take part in the Youth Forum «Energy solutions through innovations», present new projects, poster and IT presentations («Open dialogue»), participate in the contest for the special award in the petroleum industry «Youth Choice» and in the workshop «Technologies of future leaders' success: the best practices», get to know about Youth Program of the World Petroleum Congress in Doha (4-8 December 2011).

Hope that Russian petroleum forum will be organized on a regular basis and will attract more prospective young scientists and employees of the Russian energy industry so that they can discuss challenges and scenarios of oil and gas development in Russia.
